Any student wishing to participate in Katy's Annual Rice Harvest Festival Parade may join our new Parade Team. We'll teach you everything you need to know to march and perform in the parade!

Each student must attend 4 of the 6 weeks of instruction during the summer. Summer Parade Team class will be held on June 8,15,22,29 and July 13 and 20th.

Elementary age students will meet from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Jr./Sr. High students will meet from 5:00 - 6:00.

There will also be 7 Sunday practices scheduled for August/September/October. Team members must attend at least 6 of the 7 Sunday practices. Those dates are: August 6, 13, 20, 27 and Sept. 10, 17, 24.

All parade members must be present on Saturday, September 24th from 2:00 - 4:00 for a final practice.

The parade will be on Saturday, September 30 2006.

Elementary age students will meet on Sundays beginning in August from 2:00 - 3:00.

Jr/Sr High students will meet on Sundays from 3:00 - 4:00.

Pom Team will have a uniform that consists of black jazz sneakers, black pants, top and poms. Each Pom Team member will be required to purchase a pair of black jazz pants and black jazz sneakers. JHSOD will provide poms and top at a minimal rental rate. Pants will cost approximately $25.00 and jazz sneakers will cost approximately $35.00.
